Ann Ammishaddai Padua shared the following link and had this to say about it: MY NIGERIAN SOCIETY: OMG! THIS IS ABUJA THE CAPITAL CITY OF NIGERIA.. CAN YOU IMAGINE??? no fireman, no medics, no police, no help at all.. the CIVILIANS ARE LEFT TO TAKE CARE of the victims.. OMG!!!!!! THIS TOTALLY BROKE MY SMILES JUST RIGHT AFTER I UPATED MY COVER PHOTO.. the smiles you have seen in my cover photo was immediately covered with grief and tears.. while watching the video.. I CALL THE ATTENTION OF THE LEADERS OF THE GOVERNMENT.. AS I WAS WATCHING THE VIDEO.. ALL I WAS SAYING IS... WHERE ARE THE FIRE FIGHTERS, WHERE ARE THE MEDICS? WHERE ARE THE POLICE TO ASSIST IN SAVING THOSE VICTIMS? WHERE ARE THE MASS MEDIA REPORTERS.. ? all i see are civilians trying to rescue victims, trying to video the incident, some are busy with their phones talking to whoever they talk too while running from the bomb blast scene.. MY GOD.. this is not how a bomb blast be attended, the video took many minutes and it took so long for a medical vehicle to arrive.. and civilians help to load the victims.. even civilians do not exactly know what they should do.. i commend those citizens who really tried to rescue life and risk their life not to leave the place and are ready to attend to help.. MY HANDS WHILE WATCHING AND MY MIND WAS REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE, I PRAYED AND PRAYED, AS IF I CAN ONLY DO SOMETHING TO HELP THOSE VICTIMS TO FIND SOME MEDICATIONS.. please... ATTEND YOUR PEOPLE SIRS... Olusegun Iselaiye [VIDEO, Viewers Discretion] Efab Bomb Blast, Wuse II, FCT Abuja, Nigeria. The video has left me broken, disturbed and depressed. Please DO NOT BLAME ME FOR UPLOADING IT. JUST DISREGARD IF YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT WATCH THE HORROR. Just think about the following: 1. Unkitted passersby were the ones rescuing the victims: No gloves, no nothing! Wow! I shake my head and sob for my country. This is how people ignorantly, albeit out of compassion to save lives, contract -or even infect victims with- diseases. 2. No fire service was there to put out the flames more than 40 mins to 1 hour -if not even more- after the blast despite the fact that the blast happened right at the heart of the FCT. 3. No military chopper was around to patrol the scene one hour after the incident. Did any chopper even go there at all after the blast? Only God and eyewitnesses can tell. 4. The security forces on ground could not properly cordon off the scene even one hour after the blast. Thats why every Tom, Dick and Harry had access. 5. The very first step after such disaster is to pick a place for everyone to assemble while cordoning off the scene. This has a lot of merits, ranging from helping security forces kick-start investigations to getting accurate casualty figures. 6. No security cameras around the scene as popular as the place is. If any, how many were there? That area should have no less than 20 cameras. Its about one of the busiest areas in Abuja. But it seems theres only one camera there. That should be the first port of call for investigators. https://facebook/photo.php?v=10152287551728337&fref=nf Olusegun Iselaiye [VIDEO, Viewers Discretion] Efab Bomb Blast, Wuse II, FCT Abuja, Nigeria.
