Anna is scheduled for a scope on December 10. Also, at the last appointment, they tested her for Marfans syndrome. It is a genetic test, so we are still waiting on results. Thank you for your continued prayers. We do feel them. I am so thankful this year for so many. I am afraid of leaving someone out, so I am not mentioning names. This year would have been so much rougher without grandmas and sister in laws who stay all night at the hospital so mom and dad can be at the hospital when doctors round and procedures are done. So thankful for grandmas who cook non-stop and stay the night when needed, and friends who drop everything and drive for hours even when they can only stay a short while. Thankful for grandpas who run errands and share grandmas. Thankful for friends willing to do your dirty laundry, even though it freaks you out; friends who bring you food and personal care products so you dont have to go home; friends who stand watch so you can sleep, friends who get you a prescription for anxiety medication so you can sleep. Grateful for coworkers(Larksfield and Wesley) who go the extra mile to let you know they care. Thankful for a church that blows my mind with its generosity. I cant forget the healthcare army it took to get Anna where she is today. Doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, chaplains, childlife specialists, physical and speech therapists....no one ever gave up on Anna. I am grateful for the grandparents I lost this year. Harold Hartman was the kindest soul I have ever met. Grandma Wolf was an awesome cook and wicked card player. Thankful for those who have listened to me when I needed to talk and those who have let me share my faith with them. BLOOD DONORS! Thank you for the gift of life. Soccer coaches, teachers, soccer players, soccer moms! Pastors and youth pastors! Youth sponsors who spend nights praying in hospital hallways. Most of all, thankful for a relationship with Christ and thankful that God turns our trials into triumphs. Rejoice ALWAYS, pray CONTINUALLY, give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:16-18
