Anna was brought to me today by the kind staff at the Metro - TopicsExpress

Anna was brought to me today by the kind staff at the Metro Turning Point shelter. shelternovascotia/facilities-and-services/metro-turning-point Apparently Annas human owner has serious mental health issues and he has been committed to hospital for a long time. He asked staff at Metro Turning Point to go empty his apartment and they found 2 cats. A home was found for the healthy cat. I dont have the full history on Anna, but was told she has a multitude of health problems, including a heart murmur and kidney disease, along with her skin condition. Turning Point staff consulted the owner and they agreed to have her euthanized, as they didnt feel she would be adoptable and they wanted to end her suffering. Her entire next and chin are raw from scratching, she must be so uncomfortable. They took her to the Metro Animal Emergency hospital only to be told they wouldnt euthanize the cat, and thats where they got my phone number. I agreed to take Anna to the vet on Monday to determine our best course of action. If it turns out she is healthy enough to try and save, is there anyone who would be able to take on the task of fostering her and providing medications as needed?
