Announced at Mt. Fortune Sabbath March 15, 2014 • Next Sabbath the church services will be held jointly at the Mount Fortune church. All members are asked to be courteous and cooperative with those who will direct the parking of cars. • Pastor Berg and Elder Charles Richardson will be attending a Stewardship seminar this Monday at the Shiloh church in St. Thomas. Therefore, Pastor Berg will be traveling to St. Thomas on Sunday evening and returning on Thursday. • In our church the month of March has been designated”YOUTH COMMITMENT MONTH”. Our young people and youth leaders will be the designated speakers at our nightly church services during the month of March. Pastor Trent Berg will be conducting a series of meetings for the young people of Anguilla entitled ”Finding a Love that Lasts” It starts on Sabbath, March 22nd . Services will begin at 7:00 every night except Sundays and Thursdays. Let us begin to pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the success of these evangelistic meetings. • The Pathfinders of the our island churches are soliciting funds to assist the Pathfinders who would like to attend the 2014 Pathfinder Camporee in Osh Kosh, Wisconsin (Wis-con-sin). We encourage our members to give generously to give our children this once in a lifetime experience. We are also grateful to the Youth & Culture department who recently donated $1,000 US towards this trip. • The Publishing Department of the North Caribbean Conference will like to inform everyone that the “Book of the Year” is the book entitled “Education”. It can be obtained from Sister Selena of the New Life congregation during the Youth Revival for just $1 US. Our pastor is encouraging everyone to get their copy. We will be studying this book in church during the 2nd quarter. • Pastor Claudette Andrews, The Caribbean Union Women’s Ministries and Children Ministries Director and; Sister Margaret Peters North Caribbean Conference Women’s Ministries and Children Ministries Director will be conducting a Women’s Ministries Certification Course from Thursday April 10th, 2014 and concluding on Sabbath April 12th, 2014. There will be a graduation ceremony held at Mount Fortune Church on the Sabbath afternoon for those completing the Course. Pastor Andrews will speak for special joint Prayer Meeting Service on Wednesday April 9th, 2014, 7:15pm at South Hill. • Senior Youth Camp 2014 takes place July 17th to the 28th in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Vincent A. David, the Youth Director of the North Caribbean Conference, has extended the early bird registration for Youth Camp 2014 for Anguilla until, today March 15th. The registration is fee is $100.00US. All interested Youth aged 16-35 are asked to contact the AY Leader Sis Kareen Harrigan. • You are reminded that members of the Women’s Ministry meet every third Tuesday in the month at Sis Ethlyn Fleming’s home to continue their study in the book of James Chapters 2 and 3.
