Now that we have already chosen the solo participants, we would like to open an ONLINE AUDITION for the DUET Category. They say that two is better than one! Show your vocal prowess together with a partner on #PNUIdol2014Duet Category Online Audition :) PNU IDOL 2014 (Online Audition for DUET CATEGORY – Official Rules & Guidelines) • The contest is open to all bona fide undergraduate students of PNU Manila. • Contestants may be (a) both males, (b) both females, (c) a male and a female. • There should be two (2) voice parts. • Record a video of yourselves singing a song that will maximize your vocal prowess. The song must be performed A CAPELLA. • Usage of microphones and other audio enhancements is NOT ALLOWED. • Your video must be newly recorded and uploaded on YouTube only within the duration of the online audition (October 20-31, 2014) • Its link should be submitted as a PRIVATE MESSAGE to the Facebook page of PNU Idol (facebook/PNUIdolSYME) together with you and your partner’s NAMES, SECTIONS, and CONTACT NUMBERS. A confirmation message will be sent to your Facebook once the panelists have seen your entry. • Submissions will be accepted until OCTOBER 31, 2014 at 11:59PM. • Failure to comply with the rules will result to disqualification. • Please be guided with the following criteria: Voice quality – 30% Musicality (Intonation, blending/harmony, vocal technique) – 40% Interpretation – 30% TOTAL: 100% >> Announcement of qualified participants for both SOLO and DUET Categories is on November 3, 2014.
