Announcement: Teleport is now free for all MyRepublic subscribers! At MyRepublic, we like to see ourselves as an Internet company. The products we sell and the services we provide should all tie into our vision of how the Internet should be. For starters, we believe in net neutrality: the idea that the Internet should be open and free. No service should be stuck in a slow lane because it does not pay a fee. The Internet should also be a ready source of great content, be it news or entertainment or hilarious memes. We want to make all of it accessible to you, with ultra-fast fibre broadband being just the beginning. Beyond broadband, we had Teleport as an optional intelligent routing add-on service, designed to provide seamless access and optimise streaming quality to a number of international websites. Starting this month, were happy to announce that Teleport is no longer a chargeable add-on. We believe that Teleport is how our Internet should be -- and Teleport is now a feature included with all MyRepublic broadband plans. What does it all mean? 1) Everyone gets Teleport automatically You wont be charged for it and you wont need to do anything to get Teleport activated. Simply visit one of the websites Teleport optimises streaming to (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, etc) and it should work. 2) If you do use Teleport, you agree with our Terms of Use Of course, even if its freely available, you dont have to make use of our Teleport feature.
