Announcements 1.The schedule for Public presentation of Cheques for bursary (form 1 ) and for projects is as follows ; i)Gaturi ward -Kiamuri A.C.K clinic (during free medical camp) 10am 29th March 2014 sat ii)Lower Mbiri -Muthigiriri pry school 9.00am 31st March 2014 mon iii)upper Mbiri -Ndikwe pry school noon 31st March 2014 mon iv)Mugoiri ward -Ignatius Murai pri school 3pm 31st March 2014 mon v)Murarandia ward -Kahithe sec -8.am 1st April 2014 tue vi)Wangu ward-Gituto pry -10am 1st April 2014 vii)Town-st.mary pry noon-1st April 2014 Those college and university students who got attachment must also attend the events since the projects will be flagged off then . We encourage Chiefs and members of bursary committee to attend the said meetings so that they can collect cheques for parents who will be unavailable . There are some beneficiaries whose school details remain unclear due to this issue of changing of schools -the list will be circulated then and parents given a chance to insert the details . 2.medical camp for gaturi is till on.Volunteers should contact Eliud on 0724400003 . Notes : i)We have received complaints of delay of form 1 bursary .Before issuing a bursary cheque ,we always verify whether a beneficiary is still in the school indicated in the application form.This is to avoid cancellation of cheques or a cheque going to the wrong student .In form 1 bursary,this took long due to constant change of school by students .We apologize for this lateness . ii)We encourage persons nominated in certain slots to relinquish other public seats they may be holding .Thus ,one bursary slot for persons with disability exists for mugoiri region after the holder was nominated into uwezo fund.Thus at Ignatius Murai pri,there will be an election for the seat of bursary for that region . iii)One CDF rep for Githagara location has moved into Uwezo fund committee .Elections to replace him will be held on sat 12th April 2014 at 2pm githagara chiefs camp . iv)Ministry of educations bursary for secondary schools students and CDF college /university bursary application period is between 7th April 2014 and 24th April 2014 .The bursary committee will sit on 25th April 2014 Friday 10am.
