Announcing the Annual Kingdom of Gleann Abhann Largesse Derby to be held this September at Kingdom A&S. The goal is to create a collection of largesse that can be used for gift baskets for investitures, coronations and wars, as well as for donation to the kingdom. We also are looking for those that are willing and able to make Kingdom Regalia so that Their Majesties can give our deserving citizens awesome bling. Rules for Entry: All entrants must create 12 items that are suitable for largesse. For example: 12 needlebooks, 12 hats from different (or the same) period(s), 12 pieces of jewelry, 12 children’s toys, 12 socks would not be suitable as that is 6 pairs. All entries must be tagged and ready to be gifted the day of the competition. Fiber content and ingredients should be listed for any items containing possible allergens. Same goes for cosmetic type entries, please list ingredients for possible allergens Entries need not be document-able, as this is not an Arts and Sciences competition. Items should not have specific heraldry unless they are in the regalia category as they are meant to be given to other areas. Please if your entry is something that melts take in to consideration that occasionally your things will be stored/transported in very warm conditions and seal them accordingly. Judging will be done by the “bead in cup” method. The winner will choose one item from each of the other entries. (if there are 12 entrants, the winner will receive 11 items.) If anyone enters 6 or more entries (6 sets of a dozen items), they will be eligible for an Over The Top Prize. **I will be offering a set of 12 beads or veil pins in your choice of colors as an over the top prize** More over the top prizes to be announced.
