Anon admin question. My daughters father and I are not together and havent been since July. I told him that I would keep everything out of court as long as he gave me a little bit of cash a week to help with diapers or what not or even went out and bought it himself. On top of that, he owes me 200 from when we split up and he left me 1400 in the whole. I havent seen anything from him, his mother bought me a package of diapers and some snacks for her here once. Hes currently in basic and I told him that when he got back I would be filing papers to go through court to get support set up. Am I wrong for doing this? To me its not about wanting the money to spite him but needing it to support our daughter. I work full time, sometimes 7 days a week and still struggle to make ends meet and I feel that his child support would ensure that our daughter has what she needs.
