Anon asks Dear lovely mamas. I need your advice. I have an amazing bubbly and energetic 22 month old boy, Ive co slept with since one month and shared all naps with. Im now 16 weeks pregnant and were experiencing some difficult/challenging changes. 1) my milk has dried up in the last few weeks, a combination of being pregnant, my son finally sleeping through the night for the lat few months, and him not asking for boobie much during the day. However, he doesnt seem fully ready to wean, as he still asks for boobie before sleep at night, when he wakes in the morning and aft his afternoon nap. He gets really frustrated no milk is coming, and for me the dry sucking is uncomfortable. Is this part of the weaning process? How do I make it easier for him. Note hes never accepted bottle. 2) next month my son will attend two days at his porse carer full time (currently doing 3 morning only, but that is not available nex month). Hes currently driven or pushed to sleep in a pram, then transferred to bed for his after lunch nap because, honestly, its the quickest and easiest way for him to fall asleep (otherwise its an afternoon ordeal to try to get him to fall asleep - he wont even be rocked to sleep, although a night he falls asleep just with me beside him). These wont be options for his educarer, so how can I start teaching him to fall asleep for his nap on his own? Sorry for the novel! Thanks in advance for your advice!
