Anon asks I wonder if anyone has any natural remedies or advice... DD, who is 2.5yrs, has had spots in nappy area and spreading randomly to her legs, for a few weeks now. Shes never had any kind of nappy rash before. Took her to the dr and at first she thought it was fungal so she prescribed a kind of steroid cream. This had no effect then it started to get inflamed and hurt her so we stopped using it. Dr now says its an infection a theyre puss filled spots so prescribed an anti biotic oral penicillin type medicine...but it tastes disgusting and my LO just spits it out and gets very upset. Theyre is a cream but she is allergic to one of its ingredients so dr says theres no alternative!! How could we clear this up? Shes waking at night in pain with the inflammation and its breaking my heart to see her like this. Plus, with a baby due any day I need to get on too of this! Thanks for any advice
