Anon has asked: Toilet training question… We have been working on toilet training our almost 3 year old for almost a year now and have come to a standstill. We are essentially ‘toilet timing’- she wears undies and we remind/nag/insist on sitting on the potty every 1.5 to 2.5 hours and she does a wee. Although we can go weeks without her wetting her pants, we now need to make the shift to her initiating and taking responsibility and telling us when she needs to do a wee. We are not sure how to do this. Every now and then she has done it by herself, but of late, if we don’t insist she sits on the potty, then she wets her pants. We are all over it to be honest! Help!
