Anonymous Its been six long years, seems like 1% of me is still caught onto my first love. Ill forget for a few years and that 1% comes around again. I get emotional and always wondering how things could of been different in the past. Before we were young wild and free (very young). We were in a long distance relationship lasted 3 years. We had very few communication devices. My family was strict and traditional, I was never allowed to be on the phone at a period of time. Now its different; I have a job, pay for my own bills, have my own car, independent, and have a significant other who I am not married to, or engaged to yet. Im not sure how to say this, but I feel very selfish. Guilty as I am, I want to know how itll feel now with my first love. How it will be talking to each other regularly on the phone, visiting each other as much as we wanted. Have a couple of drinks together as we are Legal. All I know is this is just a dream...but it will still keep me wondering. That person is probably living their life with their significant other...who knows what. We were each others first love and something tore us apart six years ago. Their last good-bye was a few years ago. I dont ever think well hear each others voices again.
