Anonymous MOM messaged us: my daughter of almost 3 has GERD and had a fundo at 6 months. She struggled with dysphasia and gas bloat for about 8 months there after and she also got very ill. After a year of normal (occasional dysphasia and poor feeding) this year she has been having bad dysphasia and saying shes choking, just got diagnosed with asthma, complying of chest pain and stomach pain been very inactive (not like her at all) and has been struggling to breathe at times. She has also had chronic cough for over a month and has been on 2 rounds of antibiotics and has been loosing weight (not vomiting) today she had a barium swallow and it showed esophageal hernia. Has anyone been in this situation? We are about to drop the results off at her dr to evaluate and we are just very nervous and confused.
