Anonymous Question reposted by Andrew :) When my son has a meltdown I dont believe I should sanction him as he isnt in control of what he is doing or saying. However my partner believes that he should be as he wont learn otherwise. My partner doesnt really get him. How would you tackle the meltdowns? My son is always remorseful and very apologetic for his actions after and always beats himself up about it, which is why I dont think disciplining would help as hes not in control.
