Anonymous question reposted by Joanne :) I need advice on how to help my Asperger teen against a physical attack.. He was sucker punched in the stomach by a kid that was 18 my son is 16 and who is way taller and bigger than him. This kid also has aspergers and was a former so called friend...my son did not do anything when he was punched his stomach hurt for days and I had to take him to the doctor to make sure their wasnt internal bleeding. This kid used to go to my sons school but is now on his way to college and my son is entering junior year. my son begged me not to tell the parents of this kid because the kid is friends with many at the school and thinks he will be further bullied and isolated if I do this. My concern is will this kid stop? Do I teach my child to defend himself? Do I tell the parents or will that only further his social problems at the school with this kids many friends?
