Anonymous shares: Hi, my little boy with asd is 4! Hes always been a bad sleeper he did improve for a few weeks before Xmas then hes gone back to not settling on his own and not staying asleep! I dont have a problem sitting with him while he falls asleep but if Im tired I end up spending the whole night on his bedroom floor again if thats what is needed I dont mind and I dont believe it will be forever! My problem is my partner hates this I think he feels 2nd best to our son as that is where my attention is focused! He says I should leave him to cry as its his son to and He should get a say to! But its me that looks after him its me that has left him to cry but then been up till 5am trying to calm him down!!! I dont expect him to get up in the night to settle our son I do point out that there is others that have it a lot worse than we do i just wish he was a bit more thoughtful to our circumstances and Im to tired to keep dealing with the fallout any advice would be appreciated also how others settle there kids then ill show him that it isnt just me!! Thanks in advance
