Another 60s artist who put out a lot of good albums in a row was Donovan, starting with his two U.S. albums on the Hickory label (actually taken from the U.K. Pye recordings as the British Bob Dylan) and carrying on through his hip and hippy-dippy years. This is my favorite song from the early work. It has a verse about precious stones for Colleen which reminds me of an old UCR friend who always liked that part.
