Another BRILLIANT day!!! Leafleted Cathcart in the morning then headed into town to meet junior daughter for her very merry unbirthday lunch (she was 20 on Wednesday). I had an hour and a half to spare, so I loaded up my YES bag with all manner of paraphernalia and headed for Byres Road to bawl and shout and hand things out. Met loads of other YESSERs there and had a great time - badges, stickers and balloons went really fast. Two guys manning a NO stall at Hillhead station buggered off after an hour or so giving up in the face of our competition - there were about 25 of us strung out along Byres Road. A passer-by with an Ipod showed me the rally in the City Centre - INCREDIBLE! Thousands of people! Then a fantastic late lunch with Alice (at No. 16 in Byres Road - great restaurant!) and home via CC Music (to get some guitar picks). The CC staff relieved me of loads of stickers and posters and said they were thinking about a late opening on the 19th as they would undoubtedly be blootered the night before! WERE GOING TO WIN THIS!!!
