Another Black Friday is upon us! I hope no one is offended but I will not be participating again this year. Dont need to and dont want to. I also wont be going to work tonight or tomorrow. Dont want to and dont have a job anyhow. Cindy and I are very fortunate, we pretty much gift each other all year long. But I know people that depend on the deep discounts of Black Friday to buy gifts for their family, and they are not extravagant gifts either. I also know a lady that is working tonight because her car burnt to the ground and she wont take hand outs. I wont berate either one of them for what they are doing. I am thankful they each have the opportunity to do what they need. There are over a thousand people standing in line at our local Cabelas! Some will be there nearly 12 hours until store opens. It amazes me that these retailers have come up with a plan to make people want to stand in line to spend their money. Brilliant! If Wal-Mart/Cabelas/Target wants to do business this way, I dont care. It dont bother me. If you want to go stand in line more power to you, I dont care. Just my opinion:)
