Another Comanche Dance: Ladies Buckskin Ladies Buckskin dancing is slow and poised yet bold and proud, with the dancers feet barely touching the ground. Circling the drum, the dancers step to the beat of the drum, permitting the long leather fringe on their sleeves to sway in time. The dancers sway and slightly bend at the knees. These movements are very subtle and cause the dancers fringe to move in a breezy motion.
