Another Feel Good Story: Nicole shares: I coach a team with three kids with various diagnosis. My daughter is on the spectrum, a child has PTSD and some behavior and emotional issues and the third has a chromosome duplication. Last season, we scored one goal and won one game. We finished dead last. This season, my first as head coach, was magical. Along with their teammates, who have never made them feel different, these girls brought home a bronze medal in our travel league championship!! My daughter only gave up 1 goal in three games! No one believed in these girls except their parents, my assistant coaches and myself.
