Another Kashmir in making. Mark my word; we will see this in our lifetime. I am so worried. We have our parental home where my mother lives. Over 90 % of my relatives live in West Bengal. I quit my secured job in USA to put up an Offshore development center there. Whoever I talk to in that state everybody feels very insecured. The demographic balance has been systematically destroyed over past forty years. Educated Hindus are leaving the state in thousands. The state that gave birth to most of Indias Nobel laureate Scientist, Authors, economist, Oscar winner. world spiritual leaders, great musicians (Classic as well as Bollywood), freedom fighters, social reformers and the list goes on and on. One friend of mine once told me that the list of achievers who reached international fame from West Bengal is longer than the entire list of that of rest of India. I never imagined that I would see Jehadis would take over my state so easily. Put simply the future of West Bengal is doomed unless we can bring back the demographic balance pre independent India. That means identify all illegal Bangladeshi who came to India after 1947 and deport them, identify all radical leaders who have access to all Islamists groups, de recognize all Madrasas and bring them under secular West Bengal board of secondary and higher secondary education. Close Madrasa board and all Islamic university. All education institutions should be secular where admission will be strictly on merit. Bring secular minded Muslims to create a state wide campaign for secular education. Open thousands of free coaching centers for college admission in Muslim areas where Muslim kids will get the opportunities to study hard and compete with Hindu kids who are statistically far ahead. Put simply we need a tectonic shift in West Bengal politics as well as social structure. The problem is how, when and who is going to do that? Disclaimer: I am not a BJP or RSS supporter ( I am not even allowed to vote in India), I am not a member of VHP or Bajrang dal. I am not a Hindu fundamentalist and Muslim hater. As a matter of fact some of my best friends are Muslims. All I want to see is a clean, developed and prosperous West Bengal where I was born. ONCE GOKHLE SAID AND I QUOTE HERE; WHAT BENGAL THINKS TODAY, INDIA THINKS TOMORROW. Can we bring back that lost glory of West Bengal where the Indian renaissance started? PUT SIMPLY WITHOUT THE DEVELOPMENT OF BENGAL INDIA CAN NOT BE A DEVELOPED NATION.
