Another Makeba thinking moment. A number of people are extremely dismayed and upset at how the media has portrayed the Ferguson situation. Many feel the media is race baiting and inciting anger. Well welcome to the world of the minorities. For YEARS the media has played the minorities.....only showing the negative aspects of our communities, interviewing the most IGNORANT person they can find in a 10 mile radius. For years, minorities have been up in arms about how the media has us portrayed, which the portrayal is so bad it makes it easy for people to drop the Thug moniker on young blacks whenever they commit a crime. The MEDIA helped shape the image of minorities YEARS ago. Where have you been all these years in this fight? You cant turn a blind eye to how the media unfairly protrays minorities and then in the same breath holler race baiting. Your sitting idly by, not saying anything makes you just as guilty as the media spin thats BEEN happening.
