Another Rendezvous with Destiny coming. 1980, we had just been in Florida a year, I had actually voted for Jimmy Carter and by that time considered him the worst President ever. Were in a tiny town, Hobe Sound, FL and I still remember pushing Summer in her stroller and practically running to the little location in town to change my affiliation from Democrat to Republican so I could vote for Ronald Reagan. He brought the country out of the pit of depression and dreariness it had fallen into with Carter and made us stand Strong again. With some time he turned policies around (at that time home mortgages had risen as high as 18-21%) and this country had prosperity that Lasted for many many years. And dont forget, he was not honored by the Democrats as they like to feign today. He was mocked, villified, ridiculed constantly lied about and hated. We need another strong, fearless conservative!!
