Another Sunday, another jam ahead. Its funny to think the roots of this band was in a straight up metal band APHELIA, rooted in power, thrash, symphonic, progressive and melodic death metal. After member changes and an extended break, it was agreed that the progressiveness and experimental elements leaking through would be more interesting and more appropriate to our strengths as individual players and as a group. As such, Aphelia was no more, and CQD is growing slowly but surely. The singer search continues as we continue writing and tightening material. One other such group to make a melo-death to prog leap, likewise not dropping all traces of heaviness...is the amazing Australian band Chaos Divine. Theyre still metal, and badass as hell.
