Another Update & Advice from TXDOT: TXDOT has closed US-67 south of Fort Stockton due to bus rollover laying on its side. Its blocking both lanes. Unclear at this time if its in Pecos county or Brewster County. No word of any fatalities at this time. TXDOT crews across the Odessa District have been treating overpasses through the night. Highway 191, west of Midland, is open again. Travel is advised against. I-20 is flowing but travel is extremely slow and should stay that way. PLEASE dont travel unless necessary. If you do travel, please slow way down and leave plenty of room between you and the car ahead of you. Do not take any chances. If you slide, steer where you want to go and gently use your brakes. Dont use cruise control. Precipitation continues in areas and we cant treat all the lanes on all the roads. We focus on overpasses and adjacent intersections. People should drive as if nothing is treated. Dont be complacent just because an overpass is treated. Patches of ice can still exist. If you encounter a crew treating, please give 100 yards for them to work.
