Another Update on Harper - Jessie Anthony about an hour ago Sorry for just now updating everyone on Harpers surgery. I have been resting sense she got out and not accepting phone calls or texts. They had to remove all of harpers large intestines except for a very small section at the end and some of her small intestine. She has a colostomy in the middle of her small intestines. There was nerve damage throughout all of her intestines. She will have the colostomy for a few years. Surgeons said this will be a long road to recovery but take it a day at a time. The least amount of time she will stay in the hospital is a few weeks but it really depends on how her body reacts to the surgery and if everything starts to function the way it is supposed to. I know everyone is very concerned about Harper but we would appreciate it if no one called or texted us until next week. I will do an update once a day to keep everyone up to speed. Also, please no visitors until next week and even then dont come unannounced. Call or text us first to make sure its ok for anyone to come. As you all know everyone has good days and bad days so we dont want anyone to catch us on a bad day. We love you all and are blown away by all the kindness you have shown or family.
