During the early-season of campaigning in 2007, this question was on the minds of many in this nation, as we watched a young senator from Chicago, Illinois, who was now the Democrat front runner for President of The United States, Barack Hussein Obama. The nation had recently ousted Saddam Hussein, the dictator in Iraq, and was currently on the hunt for Osama bin Laden, the self-proclaimed mastermind of 9/11. Through the horrors of this terrorist attack, America had been thrust into the global nightmare that radical Islam poses. Given the horrors this nation had experienced due to radical Islam, it was understandable that now Pres. Barack Obamas election campaign headquarters, did all that they could do to downplay the Presidents muslim sounding name. The Strategy used was simple, insist that the President was Christian, and accuse any who would question it as being Islamaphobes, or even racist. The strategy worked! Now five years into his presidency, this question has simply vanished from the minds of most Americans, as either having been answered, or simply irrelevant. But due to the Presidents behavior during his five years in office, I would ask, is either position warranted? The average American, has no idea of the subtleties or nuances that exist regarding body language, in the world of national diplomacy, especially regarding Islamic leaders. While it almost always goes unnoticed among US citizens, in other parts of the World it speaks volumes. One case in particular is a picture of President Obama, talking on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. In this picture, we see the President with his feet on the desk and the soles of his shoes clearly visible. While this would mean little or nothing to us, to Israel and the Arab speaking world, it can be viewed as an extremely offensive gesture directed toward the Israeli Prime Minister: israelnationalnews/News/News.aspx/131837#.Unwzyr4o7IU . Many of my critics at this point would insist that this was both unintentional, and coincidental, but is it? There are several main reasons I would reject this assertion. First, the President only allows his own paid photographers to photograph him in the Oval office. The Associated Press has complained about this since the beginning of his Presidency (dailycaller/2013/11/01/ap-editors-obama-relies-on-staged-propaganda-photos/). This means that every picture released of him in the Oval office was both staged and released to the press by Obama himself. In other words, the picture wasnt an accident, it was intentional! Let me clarify before I go any farther. This picture is viewed as offensive only in Muslim culture, not Israeli. All of Israels enemies in the middle east, rejoiced at the message they perceived, was sent to Netanyahu. Could the President be ignorant of the offensive message this picture sends to Israels Prime Minister? Given the Presidents own Muslim heritage and upbringing, how could he? Remember, Obamas biological father and step-father were Muslim. His school records in Indonesia, reveal him being enrolled as Muslim. Obama has many family and friends throughout his life who were and are, very active in the Muslim faith. While in college, he travelled and stayed in Pakistan for 3 weeks. Ignorance of Muslim culture could hardly be claimed by the President. What about Rev. Wright and the Christian Church Obama attended for 20 yrs in Chicago; doesnt this prove Obamas Christian Faith? It must be understood, Rev. Wright and the Church he Pastored was very friendly to many Muslims, including Louis Farrakhan. In fact, Farrakhan was a speaker at Wrights Church on numerous occasions. It is commonly reported that Trinity United Church of Christ, has many members who are practicing Muslims even today. Simply put, the facts reveal that membership in Wrights Church doesnt require any Muslim to renounce their faith. Church membership here simply proves nothing. Does it matter if Obama is a Muslim or not? I think considering the Post 9/11 world we live in, along with the precarious position of our only true ally in in the middle east, it matters plenty. When we look at the actions of our President relating to Israel, many times they favor their enemies rather than themselves. He called for Israel to go to the 1967 borders, making their nation indefensible. He was caught on an open mic. at the G20 summit, trashing Netanyahu. In Sept. 2012, He refused to meet with the Prime Minister, but it is his latest action that reveals much about Obamas allegiance, or lack of, to Israels safety, leaking the latest strike on Syria, to be Israeli. (timesofisrael/israel-furious-with-white-house-for-leak-on-syria-strike/) Lastly, in an August,2013 interview, former Palestinian terrorist, Wahlid Shoebat reveals that Obamas half brother, Malik Obama, is in bed with Terrorists and working as an official with a terrorist state.
