Another autocratic top-down effort to control of widely varying system of schools, and with the added 20% of the teachers evaluation based on student test scores. We fought it for years when I was teaching, and if I had to have that 20% I may have been fired ten time over. I PURPOSELY WORKED WITH THE MORE DIFFICULT STUDENTS AND THE ADMINISTRATION SENT ME THOSE STUDENTS BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY MIGHT GET ALONG BETTER IN MY CLASSROOM, RATHER THAN THE HIGH-PRESSURE CLASSES.
