Another awesome mom story, this one about Lori Wright Nice, a single, working foster mother who received 7-week old Tyler referred by the Department of Social Services after he was found with a broken rib. Subsequent hospital trips uncovered 8 broken ribs and injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome. Nice officially adopted Tyler who is now a thriving 12-year old. Great story about the building bond between mother and son and how Nices motherly instincts helped Tyler overcome the challenges he faced as a victim of SBS.
