Another big day for the Region of Queens as the community celebrates the official opening of the expansion and renovations of the health care unit and collaborative centre at Queens General Hospital. We are very fortunate that at a time when so many areas are experiencing health care reductions we, in fact, will be well served for many decades. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to make this project a reality. Along with the new South Queens Middle School and the Queens Place Emera Centre, Liverpool and Queens County is well positioned as far as infrastructure is concerned. All positive attributes that bode well for our community. There have been some tough years for the area, but with the proper vision, right attitude and a lot of hard work, Liverpool is well positioned to move into the future. WE CAN DO IT!!!!
