Another day , another few milestones reached in my progress ......Thurs I had my feed tube taken out yay !! as it was no longer needed and was making me sick through gagging , I am no longer on a diomorphine drip for pain as my mouth ulcers have totally cleared up and am no longer having to talk like I have lock jaw lol (but my god my mouth bloody hurt !!) I am slowly but surely getting used to eating food with a few technical sick ups but this is normal as I now havent used my stomach for 3 weeks !!!! But to make everything even better my lovely fwend Gavin-Emily Smiley came to see me last night with a bag of treats and clean washing done by lovely fwend Stella Dawson who has made sure I have had clean washing throughout all of my hospital treatment since feb !! love you for this :))) xxx and as my blood counts are on the up he took me down stairs out of my room which I have been prisoner to for 3 weeks ,in a wheelchair !! yes his chair driving skills are as bad as his driving but made me smile and feel happy again :)) cheers G x Just need to keep the food down and counts go up ........then could be looking at end of next week ........home home home !!!! Super happy Wilf I will be , on the mend and then have my son in my arms again ,holding him so tight telling him how much I love him and missed him so ........to the moon and back doesnt cut it !! EXTREME WILF SMASHING LEUKAEMIA !!!!
