Another day, another ghost ship turns up in the Mediterranean, laden with desperate migrants from the usual array of desperate countries (Syria, Pakistan and Eritrea, in this case). Once again, the people smugglers seem to have pointed a large vessel in the general direction of Italy and then disappeared, leaving about 450 passengers on board to fend for themselves. The Italian coastguard are now in attendance on The Ezadeen, sailing under the benighted flag of Sierra Leone.
