Another defense initiative from POTUS. SecDef Hagel just recently announced that the new role for the Army has changed from being able to fight two ground wars anywhere on the earth to coastal defense of the mainland. He explained that the Army is qualified for this role because it has long range (30 miles) ground to ground missiles that could be used as ground to sea missiles. The United States coastline could be protected just like in WWII when we successfully prevented any major D-Day-like invasions. And we can do it again!! Think invincible Maginot Line Join the Army!.Be all you can be! Since we know that the current threat to the United States comes from small groups of Islamofascist terrorists I know you are going to ask, What about our southern land border where many thousands already invade every year?, Or that vast Canadian border in remote, uninhabited areas?
