Another example of our quality customer service. Great Job by Brian Collins one of our Service Advisers: "another example of why I think Mercedes Benz has the BEST customer service!! It was the excellent customer service that made my situation, which could have been a much more harrowing experience, totally bearable. My new Mercedes C250 coupe (with less than 5000 miles) starting acting funny on a long distance trip from Ft Myers to Clearwater. I was on my way to spend the weekend with my elderly mother and take her to some doctor appointments. I felt it necessary to pull off the interstate at the Ellenton exit and call Mercedes Roadside Assistance. This is where the excellent customer service began - the woman who answered was extremely helpful and asked all the right questions in order to get a tow truck to my location as fast as possible. The tow truck had to come from a bit of a distance, but was there within the time frame I had been given. The driver was professional, very personable and accommodating. He assured me I could ride with him to Lokey Mercedes where my car would be towed. It was late in the evening, the dealership was closed, but my sister was able to meet me there to pick me up. The tow truck driver obtained the envelope for my keys for the drop box and once I had filled it out, he put it in the box for me. He also reminded me to get my luggage out of the trunk and be sure my car was locked before he put the key in the box. He made the long drive not only pleasant, but enjoyable. The next morning, I called Lokey to see if I would be able to get a loaner or if the dealership could assist me with a rental as my mother had Dr appointments we did not want to cancel if at all possible. I was advised by my service advisor, Brian, that they were in the process of looking at my car already and I may not even need a loaner. He was aware of the appointments I had scheduled and after a couple of phone calls, I decided to go ahead and take a cab to the dealership so I would be prepared to get a loaner if necessary. When I got there,at approximately 10AM, my car was being washed and was ready for me within 10 minutes. I was so happy and so thankful for the excellent service from beginning to end and I just wanted you to know that. I cannot ever imagine owning or leasing another vehicle unless it is a Mercedes.
