One if the major ways I was planning on improving my training and racing going into 2014 was to have a specialist bike fit. We went through everything from shoe cleats, to angle of the handle bars. Using Andys high tech equipment we went through my position on the bike, making all the tweaks needed to give me the optimum position for my body geometry. Andy showed me how you can use core strength to pedal more efficiently and how to train the correct muscle groups to give you an advantage on the bike. I would strongly recommend using the Retul bike fit to any cyclist at any level as it is surprising the difference between what you thought the correct set up was and what the best set up following the fit process.
