Another first… Tonight our officers responded to Stoneman N/Of Main for a check the welfare of a possibly intoxicated subject getting behind the steering wheel of a vehicle. Our officers arrived and located two male and one female subject in a vehicle. All three were drunk to the point of not being able to care for themselves. We attempted to arrange for a taxi but none of the subjects had money to pay. The alternative was to bring them to Hotel Alhambra so they could sleep it off. Once in the jail, we discovered that between the three of them they had a total of 20 warrants. The female had 10 and one of the males had 9. In my 20 years of law enforcement experience, I can’t say that I have ever seen anyone with 10 warrants. This profession never ceases to amaze me.
