Another goal accomplished. Our Travel Madness Expo 2014 - TopicsExpress

Another goal accomplished. Our Travel Madness Expo 2014 participation was off to a slow start but like a true diesel engine, we eventually went up to speed. Not only did we at the very least equal last years ticket count, our higher selling levels meant improved net sales. All the effort in building the brand seems to be paying off. A big thank you to Travel Innovators for the patience and understanding, to the local staff of Air China for sharing the goal, to Ruffa, our former trainee who gamely went on duty for us, to our key agents for not letting us down, and of course, to Jeniffer Francisco and Melvin Cordero without whose financial support our participation would not have been possible. Air China does not have a budget for the TME so Jenny and Melvin have saved us not once, but twice. As a new player, participation in consumer events is a must and my two friends have made it possible for us to connect with our consumers without me asking them twice. A six-figure investment that might not yield the desired returns is risky but I am proud of the faith my friends have given me and I have at least not let them down. So if you get caught in a situation where you need funding for an initiative that will do your office good, try dialling the Jen and Melvin helpline. The only condition they impose is, as Melvin puts it: They better not behave like emperors in the booth or Ill tell them that unlike the Spratlys, I will not yield a square meter of (booth) space.
