Another good Monday hike. This time we followed an historical trail - the Naches Wagon train route. A wagon train went over the Cascades at Naches Pass back in 1853. Only train to do it. I believe the trail was abandoned. Now it is a 4 x jeep trail in the summer. We walked on a lot of snow where the trail was in the trees. Really rough and steep; have great appreciation for folk who traveled to the West by wagon train. We hiked about 7.5 miles round trip.
