Another great day at the Beatles on the Ridge Festival. A special thanks to all who made it happen - Those volunteers were there at 6 this morning, and I know they were still there to help pick up and clean up when I left tonight at 11:00 after the Liverpool Legends finished their concert. I also know some will be out early in the morning for all of the final clean up. A great crowd was there to enjoy the music, see the activities, visit the vendors and buy the food, listen to the presentations by the authors featured at the Symposium, and to tour the gallery located in The Studio - We were constantly busy in imagine. I am always amazed when I learn where our visitors are from - yes, many from in-state but from Arkadelphia, Texarkana, El Dorado, Rogers, Little Rock,Fort Smith, Vilonia etc. Also from Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, Missouri,Wisconsin and even the Virgin Islands. It is so great to see all the people downtown and enjoying themselves. But visitors also asked about other places such as the Polar Freeze (they have read about it in many magazines and newspapers), Ma and Pa Flea Market, the Guitar Walk. Again, thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who made this happen. Hope they can all get some rest next week.
