Another great day in Memphis. First official day of our tour, starting with a quick tour of the city. Our tour guide, Brad, was a wealth of information and sang a bunch of songs (which we of course helped him out with!). A tour of the Stax Studios, The Rock and Soul Museum and Sun Studios, which is a working recording studio. Elvis recorded a number of albums there, as have the likes of Maroon 5, Def Leppard, U2, Gladys Knight, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. We saw where Martin Luther King Jnr was killed, took photos along the Mississippi River and saw the Peabody Ducks do their afternoon march. Had dinner tonight on Beale Street and listened to some awesome music! Tomorrow were heading to Tupelo (where Elvis was born). Having an awesome time! Thanks awesome traveling companion!!
