Another great morning fishing Biloxi Bay with a great group of guys. I am truly blessed the have such wonderful clients aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS day after day. Today Biloxi Bay was simply jammed full of large menhaden...bait fish everywhere. A beautiful sight indeed! No bull redfish runs on the big line just sharks and huge gaff topsail catfish. Out of our 115 fish take home catch of white trout and ground mullet over half were nice ground mullet. Water clarity was good except when the feeding menhaden stirred up certain spots. Sharks and huge gaff topsail catfish provided the light tackle pull today. Those big gaff tops are beautiful creatures, and fight just as hard as redfish of equal size. Yes they landed and released a large number of these fish, and the sharks left us reeling in a number of kicking white trout heads. Great fun never the less! In all, another beautiful day in paradise...south Mississippi. Taking tomorrow off, but the weekend is booked up, and excited to have some of the TEAM BRODIE FACEBOOK GROUP assembled for Sunday, regulars and awesome gentlemen including: Dee Sipp, Robert R. Culbertson, and Tommy OKeefe. Generally referred to as our A-Team. Lol As many of you noticed Ive fished the barrier islands very little this summer, and hope to get the A-Team out there to see what we can find. Have plenty of week days open in August, and August 24 (my birthday) is the only weekend day open this month. Book it...bring cake and ice cream...cigars...oh yeah, and lavish gifts and it will be fun. Just kidding leave the ice cream it will just melt. Many thanks to all...lets fish!
