Another installment from our series of the mysteries of purebred dogs and their constructions. Luke, an Alaskan Malamute, has a special relationship with pampas grass. On the occasion that his owner, Mark, had cut down a rampant growth of the grass from his property, Luke leapt into the middle of the gathered pile of grass and one by one, extracted seven heads placing them on a pattern on the lawn. Later that night, Mark found Luke lying among the pampas heads as they gleamed in the moonlight. The next night, Luke did it again, though this time he arranged the grass in a different pattern.
