Another invigorating weekend done! Im pretty damn proud of what I do and what Ive accomplished in my years of playing. To hear my peers (and friends) say such career affirming statements, in person or on social media, really has an effect on me. While its nice to hear positive things from regular folk at the end of a gig, receiving a thumbs up from those I respect, and whom I idolize in this crazy business, makes me glad that I stuck with this career choice for 30+ years now. Im amazed I can find a hat to fit my head into sometimes, it feels like it could get so BIG some days. Just want you to know I truly appreciate what you say to me and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your words, and the smiling faces I see when people are laughing, or dancing at my show, will keep me going as long as theres a stage, a mic, and Im still able to get up there...THANK YOU!
