Another match from today, this time my Finals in the Masters Advanced Gi. You can hear the soothing tones of Professor Scott Huston in the background, which was good because I had no idea what to do with this guy. He is pretty short, extremely stocky, and a Judo guy. He just about knocked me out (forehead clash, accidental) on his takedown attempt, and Im still not sure how I defended it. From there, I was trying gamely to avoid getting rolled by him. He was pretty tough to hold down, to give him credit. I got a few points, kept position, and took the win. Also, it was somewhat satisfying to meet a guy with a bigger ass than mine. This was my first tourney at Blue Belt, so I guess I was a little conservative.
