Another milestone for the farm. We (finally) received our official paperwork from the State and are now a licensed egg dealer. This means we can openly advertise and sell our eggs anywhere in the North Dakota! If you need eggs (duck or chicken), just let me know. Our chickens eat a natural feed (no animal by-products), corn, and whatever they find when the graze openly each day. Our chicken eggs are $4/dozen and duck eggs are $8/dozen. I just checked last night and natural chicken eggs from a factory farm at a big box store are $3.96/dozen. We know our chickens by name and pack each order ourselves. Not bad for only 4 cents more than the store.
