Another morning of clean conditions on our beaches. Swell is only - TopicsExpress

Another morning of clean conditions on our beaches. Swell is only small and from the east. Open beaches and northern corners will offer the bigger waves while the southern headlands have fairly flat conditions Waves will be lapping not far from the shore around the high tide but will improve as the tide drops out. Waves will be best on the northern corners in the afternoon around the lower tide. A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge across central New South Wales. This high is expected to remain very slow moving until at least early next week. As a result, cold fronts crossing the Southern Ocean during this time will have little or no effect on New South Wales coast as they slip away to the southeast past Tasmania. Winds: Variable about 10 knots becoming northeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the early afternoon. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Easterly below 1 metre. coastalwatch/surf-cams-surf-reports/nsw/port-macquarie
