With the barrel in my mouth I know I can “Go ahead and do it” it was the same young man You’re worthless and useless far less than a man So go ahead and die no one will care Squeeze the trigger you fool life is not fair Show some guts at least once in your miserable life Remember you owe for the pain to your wife You’re nothing but garbage that’s all you will be Make this world better by just ending your life I squeezed the trigger the hammer started to fall NO I heard from a blinding white light There’s more to your life this is not all A man standing there a glow at his head God wants you alive but Satan wants you dead Let my show you the love that God does spread He turned and looked at the standing young man Whose face was now covered with an evil grin? From his waist came a long shiny blade Into the darkness he swiftly moved away When he returned a warm smile on his face I asked what happened but all he would say I guess “Luc” wasn’t really ready to play I asked who are you and why are you here My name is Michael God wants you near Why would he want me I have nothing to give? All he wants from you is in his glory to live To you blessing on blessing he’s waiting to give Just trust in God and his son our Lord His love and grace are waiting just open the door And then he was gone lifted away in the light I turned my life over to Jesus that night I found a church with an old preacher inside I begged him to help me to find a new life We prayed and I cried a new Peace did find My eyes are wide open I am no longer blind As I started to leave the old preacher I asked How do I thank God for saving my life Give him the Glory by finding your wife
