Another poem I found on tumblr...not sure of author. Thought it was cute! Okay heart, listen. You do not know best. In fact, you don’t know anything. You simply are a vessel full of desires and you cloud my vision. My patience is running thin with you. We all know what you want, you talk about it time and time again, over and over. We know you’ve waited and hoped and dreamed and cried, you spill it all over the floor when we have company over. You’re embarrassing me. Let me get you a tissue, it’s time you wipe away your tears, throw away the box of chocolates, and get dressed. I’m not asking you to give up, I’m simply asking you to calm down and raise your head towards the horizon and run. Find your freedom and discover your wings. Please, for my sake, for my mind’s sake, and most importantly, for your own sake.
